Itinerary

Day 1TO THE RIFT VALLEY

This morning we drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We arrive at Lake
Nakuru National Park in time for a mid-morning game drive.
Enjoy lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game lodge as we get ready for our afternoon short
game viewing drive.
Lake Nakuru is world famous also as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Besides that,
more than 400 species of birds can be seen in the park. Between the lake and the cliffs in the west,
large pythons inhabit the dense woodland, and can often be seen crossing the roads or dangling
from trees.
Lake Nakuru is among Kenya’s finest national parks. Flanked by rocky escarpments,
pockets of acacia forest, and at least one waterfall, the park is gorgeous year-round and
is home to both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, and endangered
Rothschild giraffes.

Day 2NAIROBI- MASAI MARA

After breakfast, we will drive along the floor of the famous Great Rift Valley to the
Masai Mara.
Along the way, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning panorama
of the lakes, plains, and volcanic terrain that dominate the region. You’ll later stop in
the Masai town of Narok to stretch your legs before continuing on to Kenya’s most
famous reserve.
You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and then head out on an afternoon game
drive in the park.
The Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination, set high on a hill with
commanding views over one of Mara Serena Safari Lodge is located at the very center
of the famous Mara Triangle of the Masai Mara National Reserve, which lies 320
kilometers from Nairobi.

Day 3MARA NATIONAL PARK

Wake before the dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Masai Mara
sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you’ll head out into the park to watch as the sun
sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search
for a meal.
You’ll then return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and
heading back out into the park for a day-long exploration of the Masai Mara.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife,
and endless plains. The quintessential Maasai Mara safari delivers many attractions, as
the reserve is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game, including the
more than two million wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes that make up the famous
Great Migration. Tonight as you go to rest, you will sleep to the music of Nature – of
lions roaring and hyenas laughing, a reminiscence of the might of wildlife. Dinner and
overnight at Mara Serena Safari lodge.
