The nights of Bogotá have a unique place to visit: Samper Mendoza Square, a magical and historical place where we will share our peasant and ancestral history, regarding the use of herbs and plants that we consider medicinal, our great ethnobotanical variety. Discover with us the magic behind the myths and curiosities about the use of plants for Colombian gastronomy, natural medicine, and even black and white magic in our country.
We invite you to spend a fun, magical and enchanting night with us.
SAMPER MENDOZA SQUARE
"Walking each space of the Samper Mendoza square is entering a place where the green color of the plants stands out, the bundles (that informal measure of packaged herbs validated by all), the herbal bundles..." and much more. Nothing can better describe the experience you will have in this wonderful place that is also an intangible heritage of humanity.
THE HERBS
In Colombia there are "more than 300 species of plants, of which about 200 are native to Colombia and more than 160 are exotic, also having endemic or exclusive species such as the water ear, the female quereme, the pega pega, the sacasal and la Santa María”, we also have plants for medicinal and magical use such as rue, basil, laurel, rosemary, chamomile, incense, eucalyptus, lemongrass, among many more.
THE INFUSION
Taste a delicious local infusion typical of our region and taste a delicious dessert while you share the experience with us. Our typical infusions are, for example, the aromatic mint and fruit infusions, the canelazo with herbs, among many others.
