• Wat Saket: Also known as the Temple of the Golden Mount or Golden Mountain of Bangkok, it is one of the oldest and most important temples in the capital. This temple was built at the request of King Rama III who ordered the construction of a huge golden stupa on its top. In this place it houses a Buddha relic from India as well as unique sculptures with Buddhist references. In the past for centuries it was the highest point in Bangkok. The base and surroundings of the temple are covered with vegetation and to reach its top you must climb its 318 steps where we will be delighted with its great golden stupa and its 365 degree panoramic views of the city.
