Our free tour begins in the Plaza Mayor of Lima, a very emblematic square since in this place Francisco Pizarro founded Lima , the current capital of Peru; Here we will be able to appreciate the cathedral with its beautiful viceregal architecture, the archiepiscopal palace, the government palace and the municipality of Lima. We will visit the beautiful Casa Aliaga , a unique house of its kind from the viceregal period, occupied without interruption since its construction in the 16th century until today. We will appreciate the convent of San Francisco , this monastery is a jewel of great artistic value in Lima, being famous for its catacombs. We will walk through the main streets of the historic center admiring the Torre Tagle palace and its beautiful balcony, the beautiful mansions, churches and buildings considered part of the cultural heritage of humanity. We will end our tour in Plaza San Martín , a historic square, whose name is due to the general architect of the Independence of Peru, Mr. José de San Martín.
