The urban artwork tells us the history of Nicaragua until the 19th century and offers a vision of the identity of Nicaraguans, illustrating their battles, chaotic and vibrant moments.
Precisely in one of these moments - in the 80s, in a time of struggle and reconstruction - the muralist movement was born, which soon spread like wildfire to such an extent that, in a short time, more than 1,000 murals were painted in Nicaragua.
Then it is the turn of other murals, which allude to the revolution - of which León has become the capital - and offer us some of the most representative images of the 20th century.
This free tour will be like watching a documentary about the past, present and perhaps the future of the country.
