A tour takes you around the cozy historical centre of Tsarskoye Selo and it's charming English-style landscaped Alexander's park with it's pavillions built for the royal children. You will see the Cathedral of St-Catherine dedicated to the famous owner of the town - Catherine the Great, the oldest surviving wooden house, a rare sample of miniature tenant house in Art Nouveau style, the "Formula of Sorrow" Holokaust memorial. You will hear a story about the Royal farm and the cow, travelling with the tsar's family onboard the ships to provide them with the fresh milk. You will see the Nicholas the II personal church with it's little town built in ancient Russian style and, finally, the last home of Nicholas the II, the last tsar of Russia, who spent his last days uder the home arrest here.
