Below is a list of exciting stops that could be part of our walking tour. While we won’t be able to visit every spot in just two hours, our guide will shape the route based on what you want to see most. This free tour uncovers the history of Cusco, from pre-Incas and Incas that inhabited this valley, to the expansion, to conquest and emancipation, to legends, and to present day events.
Our local guides will provide you with detailed information of the main attractions of the city. The route of our tour begins in Plaza de Armas where you will learn about Inca and colonial architecture, religious temples, colonial residences, churches and monasteries. You will be able to take photos with local people and South American auquénidos typical of the area (alpacas and llamas ). We will also visit the Tupac memorial grave yard as we as the temple of the sun and the pachacutec 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐚 palace then later visit Hatun Rumiyoc street, which means "street with the large stones", and where the famous 12 angled stone is located and walking towards the plazoleta nazarenas once inhabitated by powerful Spanish residents where they took the 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐚 school to make their amazing residences today we still apreciate the 𝐈𝐧𝐤𝐚 foundation with snakes simbols on the wall .
We will continue our visit to the bohemian neighbourhood of San Blas, a place that was inhabited by families of famous artisans of the city and end our tour at one of the most popular restaurants in the city, " Limbus Restobar ". Here we will enjoy a free pisco sour and Andean ceviche gastronomic class (when we have more than 5 people and only on the 10:00 am tour).
